Communications & Events Manager
The Communications & Events Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a communication plan that supports the business objectives and engages our most important customer, our employees. This individual will be critical in developing our messages and internal keynotes that ladder up to our business and inspires success at Redbox.
Serves as a primary contact for internal communications in partnership with the CEO, Human Resources, Marketing and other key client groups
Manages the development and execution of employee communications by working with key clients, writing, producing, and managing content
Works with and advises executives and business leaders in the development and execution of communications plans and deliverables to support Redbox initiatives
Provides project management, logistics, copy writing, and content development support for major company meetings and events including podcasts, quarterly meetings, Leadership Conferences, digital newsletters, summer events, holiday parties and socials
Create and manages the internal communication calendar
Facilitates the development, editing and maintenance of content posted to intranet site and internal communications vehicles
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism required, MBA a plus
5 years of communications experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a strategic communications role required
3+ years of event planning experience required
Specific experience with presentation development and document creation – proven ability to take complex material and create succinct communications
Event planning and management experience including management of events at remote locations
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Possesses excellent skills in, and a passion for, communications in all forms
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent relationship development skills; collaborative in work style and ability to interact with a diverse, large number of people across and at different levels within the organization
Ability to work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS office, SharePoint, and social media platforms
