Channel Marketing Associate
Redbox is seeking a Channel Marketing Associate who is passionate about customer engagement and driving lifetime value. This hands-on role calls for a candidate capable of campaign management for promotional communications, lifecycle email marketing, new customer onboarding, and content promotion. This individual is eager to optimize the world of digital marketing by getting the right content and offer in front of Redbox customers! This cross-functional role requires collaboration with peers on the marketing team on multi-channel campaigns and works closely with a number of teams across the business.
Collaborate with cross-functional business partners and manage the monthly Marketing Calendar for Email, Mobile, Web and Kiosk
Work closely with 3rd party vendors to always be in the know of cutting edge technology/features and recommend ways to integrate into Redbox campaigns
Coordinate with CRM to develop and execute tests and analyze results to continuously optimize our customer retention programs
Deploy email-marketing programs through an external Email Service Provider. Email Programs include:- Regular promotional and sale messages to our customer base in each line of business (Physical Discs, On Demand and Games)- Transactional email messages to keep customers informed about the current status of their transaction- Lifecycle programs that drive repeat transaction activity from the existing base of customers- Building advanced segmentations of the customer base for highly-targeted promotional and lifecycle campaigns
Assist with deployment of mobile marketing programs through external User Interface Tools
Monitor and report on campaign level channel performance to ensure strong deliverability and successful deployment of essential messages
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
2+ years of related work experience
Experience working with an external Email Service Provider is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong ability to prioritize work, multi task and meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
Proven work ethic and team oriented
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, with intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, basic understanding of HTML and the ability to quickly learn new systems and languages such as SQL and AMPScript is a plus
Ability to quickly learn new systems
Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
