Director Field Service Operations

Position Overview

To help us continue our growth, we’re seeking an experienced Director of Field Service Operations to join our highly skilled team. As an ideal candidate, you have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting. You’ll work closely with executives, directors and managers to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success at Redbox.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational activities in the United States and Puerto Rico including the management of Redbox employees, vendors, and government entities

  • Set strategic goals and plan for new product line introductions including scale and growth of business, resource capacity planning, and piloting potential new LOB partnerships

  • Partner cross functionally across the organization to drive forward cost-saving opportunities, operational efficiencies, and continual improvement to operational processes and procedures that deliver results

  • Oversee the annual budgeting process / P&L responsibility for budget execution

  • Interface effectively with customers, consumers, corporate staff, and other stakeholders

  • Ensure client and consumer satisfaction; engage with consumers and clients to assess service performance and educate on the service organization’s value in the marketplace

  • Assess competitive threats and act as an advisor to Redbox Senior Leadership

  • Assist with the development of key performance metrics to support the growing LOB strategy

  • Build a strong team environment and employee engagement consistent with corporate values--including hiring, training, and developing of staff

Education & Experience

  • BA degree in Business Management or related field required; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years’ of related management experience, with 5+ years’ experience leading a revenue field service based organization

  • Experience with budget/business plan development

  • Masterful organizational, leadership, and prioritization skills

  • Ability to comprehend complex projects, build effective teams to deliver results, and manage projects to successful completion

  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

  • Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills to interact and engage with customers, vendors, and employees and foster strong relationships

  • Change management abilities to accommodate new projects, processes, personnel, and systems

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and others in person and electronically.
