Sales Planning Associate

Position Overview_________________________

The Sales Planning Associate serves as the key coordinator and interface, between the Sales Team and the Business. Sales Planning strives to provide the right information, to the right audience, at the right time in order to meet Company Goals. The Sales Planning Associate is the planning lead and the internal expert on a variety of projects for the Sales Team. Provides guidance to the Sales Team through the continuous ‘planning and executing’ process loop, while providing critical business and consumer information in a timely manner and user-friendly form.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key interface between sales, finance, marketing, operations and technology, ensuring effective sales representation and coordination of initiatives

  • Build effective working relationships with key decision-makers & provide sales representation for key planning meetings

  • Work closely with marketing and finance functions to ensure that Sales and Client interests are represented in business and marketing plans

  • Provide Sales and Client feedback to internal stakeholders on product and initiative plans

  • Work closely with Sales Team to develop & align Account Plans with Business objectives & strategies

  • Support Sales Team in plan execution, tracking and analyzing results, building contingency plans, and securing resources

  • Develop high-quality sales materials that provide the Sales Team with information they need to effectively sell including: Product details, pricing, marketing elements, timelines, and business insights

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years of related experience ideal background in a sales/marketing ideally with 2+ years of Project Management

  • Exposure to Direct Account Management &/or HQ planning

  • Analytics experience with strong ability to interpret and present results

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Exposure to decision support tools/data

  • Strong, clear progression of responsibility

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
