Sr. Product Manager

Position Overview

The Product Management team works closely with our business stakeholders, UX team, Technology Team (Developers) and PMO Team to guide Products from concept to launch to in-life incremental improvements. At Redbox, we define these Products as the digital experiences our consumers use to interact with Redbox: our website, iOS and Android Mobile apps, TV and streaming media apps, and Redbox kiosk interfaces. Product Managers help to define and improve the tools our internal users implement to market to consumers on these digital storefronts to deliver more relevant and personalized experiences. This role partners across our organization to drive key performance and business metrics on the redbox.com website (full and responsive sites), working collaboratively with others to improve the overall experience for our customers, drive engagement and conversion improvements, and holistically manage the overall evolution of the website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and justify Product Roadmaps for area of responsibility and clearly articulate the product roadmap, vision, priorities and requirements to multiple stakeholders

  • Work with business stakeholders to bring together a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product area in support of corporate goals, objectives and deliver the roadmap

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define and author business requirements, build high quality products, lead user acceptance testing and launch products. Measure post-delivery performance, continually optimizing the customer experience

  • Provide vision and leadership to the UX and Tech teams to collaborate on solving problems for the business & our customers

  • Work closely with A/B Testing Team to prioritize & define A/B tests. Own/support analysis for the tests, ensuring winning experiences are deployed to 100% audience and share learnings

  • Provide strategic leadership/prioritization to the Development Lead or Agile Product Owner

  • Partner with 3rd party platform & technology partners as needed

  • May direct the work/mentor lower level Product Managers

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or computer science; MBA desired

  • 5+ years of applicable product management, product marketing or technical management experience

  • Demonstrated success in executing/directing new product development activities

  • Experience in product management for software, websites, mobile apps, ecommerce and/or streaming or internet-connected devices

  • Experience authoring Product Management Artifacts

  • Experience as a Product Manager/Owner in an Agile development organization

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High impact verbal & written communications; ability to negotiate & influence C-level

  • Strong relationship building & interpersonal skills; ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams and mentor/supervise direct reports

  • Ability to perform market/competitive/financial analysis

  • Ability to develop cases for new products/features, strategies for product launches, and value propositions

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, & PPT

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer & other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and others in person and electronically.
