Content Coordinator

Position Overview_________________________

The Content Team supports the brand to ensure that Redbox offers customers a selection of new release content each week whether they are shopping at the kiosk or searching online. The Content Coordinator is responsible for several critical tasks within our acquisition process including multi-task, prioritize, and manage critical studio information quickly, accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with deadline pressure. This position works a typical 30-hour week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and compile monthly title-level data submissions and updates from the studios Create and maintain all information on monthly corporate documents

  • Generate purchase order requisitions in Microsoft Dynamics; track and ensure all studio deadlines are met

  • Responsible for Metadata maintenance (street dates, artwork, synopsis and all other title information for all movies) to ensure that titles display accurately at the kiosk and on our website

  • Provide administrative support to Content team which includes on-going external communication to the studios for updates/follow-up, maintaining an accurate studio contact list and also weekly internal updates to operations, marketing and finance

  • Prepare and distribute a New Release calendar each week providing the Operations team a rolling 8-week view of the upcoming product flow

  • Coordinate and compile all materials artwork and product key metric charts from the Content Directors for any purchasing and monthly Open-to-Buy presentations

  • Performs ad hoc projects as needed

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in film, business, analytics

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical and or project coordinator related position within the media industry

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Intermediate excel skills including basic formulas (such as VLOOKUP), auto filter, conditional formatting and general management of large data sets

  • Analytical approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Demonstrates a high-level of computer literacy, including proficiency in web-based software applications as well as office productivity applications such as Word, Access, Outlook, Visio, and on-line project management systems

  • Customer service oriented

  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing

  • Solid problem solving skills

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage numerous tasks quickly, accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment with deadline pressure

  • Passion for interacting in a positive and creative manner with clients, consultants, contractors, team members and senior management

  • Strong coordination and follow up skills

  • Highly reliable and dependable

  • Ability to remain composed under high-pressure and manage a high volume of projects

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
